Bell times

Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.

It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our front office.

Picking up students in school hours

Parents are encouraged to organise appointments outside of school hours, however we understand that this is not always possible.

If you need to collect students during the school day it is important to:

• Ensure that you  always report to the school office.

• Allow extra time as our office staff can be dealing with other priorities at time of arrival (phones, first aid, medication) which will always take priority.

• Avoid picking up during break times as we are often unable to find students easily in the playground. We suggest coming before or after breaks.

  • Lunch: 11.15am - 12.00pm
  • Recess: 2.00pm - 2.30pm

Avoid picking up just before the home bell as this is always a busy time in the office.

Parents are encouraged to phone when they're on their way to pick up, to allow time for students to make their way to the office.

Our School Office is open Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm

School Assembly

Whole School Assembly is held every second Monday commencing at 2.30 pm in our hall. This assembly allows for sharing of information, recognition of student achievement and is an opportunity for classes to showcase their studies.

Presentation Assemblies – these are held at the end of the year and allow and an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of students, staff and community each year.

Special Assembles are also held through the year to celebrate important themes and occasions such as Harmony Week, Reconciliation Week, NAIDOC Week, Education Week and the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.

Parents are encouraged to attend all assemblies and share in the success of students.
